This includes talking about the design process, getting rough first samples in, critiquing those samples over and over, and sending them back for another round of production and sampling. A process like this can take several months, but our team puts in the work to make sure you have the best luxury loungewear.

3. Designed With Care
We give “handle with care” a whole new meaning when it comes to designing our matching sets. If you haven’t caught on yet, we design every product in our store by hand. And just like so many other processes that come with designing luxury loungewear, sometimes the brainstorming and creation process can take months.
“We wanted to create loungewear for life, and I couldn’t imagine doing that with someone else’s designs,” said Jenna Duncan, founder of Altair Loungewear and in-house designer for all of Altair’s matching sets. “I know the feeling of having nothing to wear and, especially as a young mom, I wanted clothes that helped me feel comfortable but like I still had my personality intact. I think about every detail when designing our matching sets. From big things like texture and fit, to little things like what type of stitch would best suit the fabric or whether pants should be wide-legged or fitted. It helps that I’m a little bit of a perfectionist…I know I can make a practically perfect matching set.”
Every adjustable drawstring waistband, every breast pocket, and every simple button has been chosen for a reason. Like they say, the designer’s in the details.

Now’s the moment we’ve all been waiting for– when a loungewear set goes from our hands to your hands. At the end of the day, what matters most is how YOU feel in our cozy sets. Want to know the best thing about our sets being designed exclusively by Altair? We can make changes whenever we want.
Don’t like how a texture feels on your skin? We can fix that. Not a big fan of how another set fits on your pear-shaped body. We can fix that too. What if you simply would love to see a set in a different color? Yep, we can do that too.
In fact, our newest Cove in canary set had to undergo several changes because we realized the 100% Rayon material was too transparent. We don’t know about you, but see-through pants are a no-go around here. So, we selected a custom thicker fabric specially made for our Cove set. Easy, breezy, and not see-through.
